She Knits: Scrappy Baby Toys

I’ve completed all of my pre-planned projects for this year, so I had a little fun making a couple of toys for Jelly Bean. Although, Sprout thinks they are her’s right now. 🙂

Started — August 11
Completed — August 13
Duration — 2 days

Pattern Info
Toy Balls by Judy O’Brien (Ravelry)
Sunny Bunny by Sarah Youde (Ravelry)

I added a rattle to the inside of the toy ball. I put plastic beads in a film canister and super-glued it shut. The ball finished at about 3″ in diameter.

The bunny finished at about 9″ tall, but quite skinny and lightweight.

For the ball toy, I used all of my remaining scraps of superwash sock yarns except the Ash colorway. The bunny did not use as much yarn as I had hoped.
